With results 10,000x faster than current methods, this portable and rapid detection device now means that nurses can carry out an instant leukocyte count at the patient’s home.

Our latest collaboration with Imperial College London took us on a deep dive exploration into the future of a medical AR headset. We researched, conceptualised, and designed a headset that brings augmented reality into the operating room - all whilst considering usability and the interaction between technology and healthcare professionals.

Photon Therapeutics commissioned Smallfry to help them commercialise an innovative technology to treat eye infections – a major cause of blindness in both humans and animals. The patented Photon UVC technology delivers a fast, effective treatment, with no pain, no contact and no need for antibiotics.
