Sovrin Medical Plastics developed an automated manufacturing solution for a high-volume In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) device, combining precision injection moulding, automated assembly, and vision inspection within a controlled ISO Class 7 cleanroom environment. The project enabled reliable, repeatable production of critical diagnostic components while meeting the stringent quality and traceability requirements of the medical device sector.
Leveraging extensive experience in medical device automation, Sovrin designed a scalable manufacturing process that reduced manual handling, improved process capability, and ensured consistent product quality. The fully validated production cell supports high-volume manufacture of IVD devices, providing customers with a robust and compliant solution for diagnostic and laboratory healthcare applications.
