Sovrin Medical Plastics developed a dedicated ISO Class 7 cleanroom manufacturing cell for the production of a Dry Powder Inhaler medical device, integrating high-precision injection moulding, automated assembly, and full UDI traceability within a controlled medical manufacturing environment. The fully integrated production cell was designed to support stringent regulatory, quality, and traceability requirements associated with high-volume respiratory healthcare products.

By combining in-line injection moulding and assembly processes within a single ISO Class 7 cleanroom manufacturing cell, Sovrin reduced product handling, improved process control, and ensured complete traceability from raw material through to finished Dry Powder Inhaler assemblies. This integrated manufacturing approach supports efficient, scalable, high-volume medical device production while maintaining the precision and consistency required within the pharmaceutical and medical sectors.
