Rehabilitation Reimagined: Technology, Evidence and the Future of Recovery
Rehabilitation is one of the most underserved areas of healthcare — and one of the most significant opportunities for MedTech innovation. This session brings together researchers, clinicians and technology developers from the Midlands to explore what is working, what is coming and what it takes to move innovation from lab to ward. Hear from Prof John Hunt (Nottingham Trent University), Dr Emma Salt (National Rehabilitation Centre), Dr Vicky Booth (NIHR HealthTech Research Centre for Rehabilitation) and Barri Morgan Jones (Strolll) — four perspectives on how augmented reality, wearables and evidence-based clinical practice are reshaping what recovery looks like for patients across the NHS.
