Harris is responsible for fostering partnerships between the NIHR’s HealthTech Research Centres and the wider HealthTech innovation landscape, to maximise the value and impact of the UK’s HealthTech expertise and infrastructure. In the past year, he has supported the delivery of NIHR’s Net Zero Innovation Catalyst, scaling a successful 2025 pilot into a national programme. Working with a range of HealthTech innovators, the Catalyst provides hands-on training to embed sustainability early on in product design.

Harris has worked in policy, strategy and service management roles in the NIHR, NHS England and NHS trusts, and is passionate about sustainability, quality improvement and inclusive research practices in health and care services.
