Med-Tech Innovation 2019 – The Only Medtech Event You Need To Attend

Med-Tech Innovation Expo 2019 is just around the corner. The medical device design and manufacturing technology event will take place on the 15th -16th May, at the NEC Birmingham. It will bring together designers, engineers, innovators and manufacturers from the medical and healthcare sectors.

Our new location at the NEC Birmingham has many benefits for the exhibitor and visitor alike. The improved transport links and visibility of the show will generate more visitors as well as international exhibitors. This in turn means better return on investment for our exhibitors. Greater international audience will also allow us to show off the UK’s expertise in this sector and drive the industry forward by making the event a focal point for the sector.

A massive 81% of visitors surveyed in 2018 rated the quality of the conference content as “good” or “excellent”. Our expert conference producers hand-pick the speakers to ensure a vibrant, dynamic programme delivering all the latest news on hardware, software, materials and services.

New for 2019, is the Med-Tech Introducing stage, making three different stages ensuring a vibrant dynamic programme. Across the three stages, there is content aimed at engineers, start-ups, clinicians, corporate leaders, regulators and much more besides:

• Med-Tech Innovation Conference - in association with Medilink UK: offers insight and intelligence with presentations from Boston Scientific, Roche Diagnostics, NHS England and more. The two-day conference programme produced in association with Medilink continues to set the agenda for debate in the medical technology sector.

• Med-Tech Introducing Stage: where exhibitors and their partners will deliver quick-fire presentations introducing the latest news, innovations, applications, materials and more. Speakers already confirmed for the stage include MD-TEC, Boddingtons Plastics, Bemis Healthcare Packaging and Datalink Electronics.

• HealthTech Stage: is set to return following its launch at last year’s expo. The likes of Innovate UK, the Association of British HealthTech Industries (ABHI) and the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) will be presenting this year.

Dave Gray, Group Editor at Med-Tech Innovation News said,

“There is a lot to be gained from attending any one of the three conference stages. You’ll find world-class experts offering insights on everything from implantable devices, the impact of Brexit on the medtech industry and digital start-ups to women in medical plastics, the recycling of medical devices and efficient design for patients and organisations.”
